I thought I might share a recent build of mine, this has been a side project for the past month or so in between paid work. Let me know what you think!



Specs:

Overall length 18 inches

Blade: wrought iron over 1084/15n20 damascus

Hardware and pins: bronze

Handle: fossil mammoth ivory



This is off to get a Paul Long sheath here shortly.

Very nice, I love the size and profile! All the materials and textures work so perfectly together. The san mai jacket billet also reminds me of a Van Gogh painting :)

Thanks for the kind comments everyone! I'll post some more photos once it gets back from Paul Long for the sheath.
 
That is a superb knife, I love that mammoth handle.
 
Thanks Scott, this design is something I came up with a few years ago and the previous two times I tried to make this knife each blade had issues, so it felt really good to finally make and finish this one.
