Bill, you know as well as I do that kitchen knives don't get the love that they deserve here. That is an amazing gyuto, absolutely stunning work!
 
MMM...very nice. It's hard to tell from the photo, but is that a mokume bolster?
 
Amazing Bill! Wish I could of been up there to see that thing in person. Is this one of the blades going with you to Japan?
