Just finished this hunter in Takefu Suminigashi 22 layer San Mai and Sambar Stag. All comments welcome.

I dig it! Nice work. Can it be san mai though if it's 22 layers?
San Mai means three layers - it also refers to the process of laminating softer steels to a hard core.
 
Yes, I've seen this referred to as Damascus San Mai. In a sense there are three layers, but the two outer cladding layers are themselves made up of layers.
