I just finished this knife yesterday, and I'm really happy of how it ended up looking and feeling. I hope you like it too!

Here are some pictures of the process of making it (and its intended use, as well as some history on the design):

That pig sticker is absolutely stunning!!! The skinner is nice as well, but that big knife really appeals to me.

I really agree with Keith's post.That is a stunning pair.
Have followed progress on this. That mokume guard is so nice, and Ariel's Damascus is killer, love the blade shape. The sheepshorn is a perfect complement to the entire knife.
Is the little one 52100?

Doug :)

Goug, thank you for the kind words, I apreciate it The semi skinner is hand rubbed N678, an Austrian stainless steel that I use regularly.

Thanks

Ruben, thats a nice piece! It has that no nonsense additude!

Hey, would you tell me the process for the mokume guard? I have never seen those metals together before. I like it.

Very , very nice work Ruben. I love the sheep horn , very handsome.

This is just another reason why I want to get into boar hunting. "Oh, yeah, I use that one for stabbing feral pigs in the heart." Perfect.

Bruce,

I'm making another piece like that, I'll take some pictures and post a mini tutorial this week :)

It's amazing how Ruben made that guard look like that from that rectangle of metal
