Well, this Spring as sucked pretty bad. We got dust again bad yesterday; 6 or 7th time in the past month. Tha't pretty miserable, the visability gets down to 300-400 yards even at noon, and you're breathing junk. Then, just about sundown we got the true sandstorm, this time with rain, so basically it's raining mud. Here's some pics from the sandstorm last month; winds behind the sand move it at 50-60 mph. It's kind of crazy, and goes for hours. The one in the pictures lasted over a day; it was about 15 hours before we could even send limited vehicles out on the road.

Kuwait, this time. It'll be 100 here tomorrow...I can't wait to leave.

Nasty, I witnessed a few bad storms like that in the UAE when I was there. Never encountered raining mud though, thats a new one!

It may suck to be there but I am glad you are able to share the stories and photos...I have never experienced anything like that.

Ive experienced it once, though not as severe as the one in your pic. The whole sky turned yellow that day.

Thats got to be hard on the equipment. Never seen anything like that. I was in Bahrain and the UAE for awhile during Desert Storm, very hot, some blowing sand but nothing like your pics. Take care, be safe brother.
