Sandblasting question

guys just wanted to ask if sand blasting is a good route to take to refinish some titanium handles ? i dont have access to a glass bead blaster so this is the next best thing! will it give good results if i am trying to achieve the stock sebenza finish?

Looks good. I do know that CRK does have a sandblasted finish option. I also have sandblasted the blade on on of my benchmade grips, I go ahead and rub oil into the surface to darken it. Might as well force it, or it will come in patches from your fingerprints.
 
Looks great! You used a media blaster with actually sand? I use glass bead media to refinish my titanium knife handles and it works great. You can make an old ratty scratched up seb into a minty lookin one in a few minutes. I've never used a sand blaster, only bead blaster, I wonder how much of a difference they are. I bet you could just get some glass or ceramic media and throw it in your sand blaster.

Yes I used play sand from home depot and and a $30 sandblaster from harbor freight !!! I don't want to use an expensive media because I don't have a blasting cabinet I just do it in the open outside.

Yep I also rub oil into the finish!!
