Sanding disk

Unless the disc was very much out of balance I don't believe to buy it that way is so important. Th reason I say this is that in my opoinion to get the best results out of the disc it is necessary to overlay the disc with a piece of 3/4" plywood covered with arborite. The plywood will deaden the vibration and the arborite will help to make disc changes easier. Once you have this assembled and mounted on the motor, you can get an idea how well or otherwise it is by giving it a slow spin by hand. Chalk mark the stop position which I determine to be the down edge Hopefully you can have the disc so it will spin from down to up not from side to side. After spinning several times if the marked position keeps showing in the same "down spot" you might want to remove a little weight on the arc of the disc. I hope this helps you to have a smoother running disc. Frank
