Sanding down handles

100 some odd grit sandpaper to really remove material, and about 220 grit to finish it off and smooth it a bit.

Produces a lot of dust, and isn't the best to breath in.

Thanks for the info, I just acquired a 3b2 and love the smooth handles. I want to smooth out my handles on my hellrazor.

I wet sand to keep the dust down. I use Klingspor cloth backed sandpaper. I start with 80 grit for shaping, then go to 220 and 400.

These are my NMFBM scales that I sanded myself. Much more comfortable now.

I like the sanded feel but the machined look and feel are a match made in heaven... soooo yeah... that didn't help at all. But I'm drinking before the ganzaaa!

I used my KMG :)

Lots of good advice here, make sure to wear a mask.

The Work Sharp does a great job.
Lots of flex in the belts for shaping
and plenty of grits available.
