Sanding FRN

I recently received a Meadowlark, from the awesome AlwaysTomboy, and was thinking about rounding down the edges on the scales. Any tips or tricks?

The black stuff sands okay, but yellow, etc. looks dirty after and won't come clean. Just sand and use a finer paper after and you'll be fine.

Wear a mask, you do not want to inhale the fibers. I wet my Endura, and kept wetting and wiping it so there was no dust. I took the middle bump off by using a medium and then fine diamond stone. I went slow, checking the feeling in my hand until it was right. I finished it with the fine stone and it looks like it came from the factory that way.
