I've searched the threads and found some info, but just wanted to specifically ask:

What grit sandpaper should I use to smooth out the middle mag section of the G10 handles on my NMSFNO? And, is there anything else involved in trying to smooth out the handles?

Thanks.

Pretty much start at a coarse grit, then work your way to finer grits. Also, when it comes to G10, it's fiberglass, so I recommend wearing a respirator or wet sanding it.

I added some contours to a Ranger knife that I have with G10 handles. Sanding that stuff takes forever by hand.

Good luck!

Personally I always leave my g10 at a low grit, somewhere around 100-200. It takes on a grippiness that is uniquely g10. I tend to find the flat smoothed out area's of busse's g10 to be to slippery when my hands are really dry unless I hit it with a lower grit.
