I saw a post of a black lined micarta handle sanded with 600 grit paper and it looks beautiful. I'm saying not know what it looked like before though. I have a Bravo 1 with maroon lined micarta and am thinking of trying to sand it with the 600 grit paper. I'm wondering what that will look like and if it will get lighter and bring out more of the detail. Right now the detail looks subdued. I'm wondering if it turn out lighter or what. I imagine the beauty of the detail is hiden currently with that shiny surface.
