I use some micarta blocks with curves like that. I can't tell if you use leather on those of yours, I don't. I hold the sandpaper directly on the micarta. The usual sizes of sandpaper range from 220 to 1800. I also use Mobile-1 as a lubrication to float the dust out of the way, Frank.

I'm sure there are lots of good ways to do it. I do glue a 7-8 oz. leather strip on the sanding block.
