I was just wondering, do any of you Sebbie owners polish your Sebenzas. Well, I do and I use 400 grit sand paper. The result is awesome. Those minor scratches don't show after the polish. I don't care for the bead blasting finish on the Sebbie. Of course, I only polish the handles. Anyone do anything different?

No, but I think that polished handle on my Sebby wouldn't last for too long anyway. I use it a lot and my Sebenza is a very happy one with a lot of scratches on the handle. It has even some small "gold inlays" from my wedding ring ;)

:) Ditto what Piter says. ie "Why bother?". Regular daily usuage after 3 years gives a satin smooth feel to the totally scratched up handle.
It is a butt ugly knife to begin with, but obviously the best daily work folder of the 20th/21st century. Perhaps Piter would send me his gold ring though, so I could put some lovely gold scratches on mine also:D Now that would be class.
"Yeah, I'm talkin to you Piter":p

I had a Sebbie with polished scales for about 2 days. I sent it off for an overhaul. I prefer the Blasted handles myself. But hey, its your knife. If you like the polished better, go with it:)
