Sandpaper on Sharpmaker for reprofiling

Exactly what kind of sandpaper would you wrap around Sharpmaker sticks for agressive blade profiling? I've got some of the black kind, but it's not doing much. Brands? Grits? Abrasive material?
 
For reprofiling I would use silicon carbide (such as Wet-or-Dry brand) 120 grit or numerically smaller.
 
The black kind is likely 400 grit or higher. For reprofiling, I'd go 100 grot o4 120 grit. Step up frpm there to 220 grit, then 320, 400, 600, and up, if you want.
