Hello All,
After reading some threads that mentioned sharpening a knife on sandpaper, I became intrigued. So I went and bought a variety of papers from coarse up to 2000 grit to try and hone a knife of mine. My questions are: What is the technique for sharpening on sandpaper? Is it the same as on a stone, or should it be of the stropping method? Also, what grits are a good selection to hone with? Should I go all the way up to 2000 Grit?
Thanks to all, and have a Safe, and Happy Holidays
