Sandvik steel?

Is it similar to AUS8? As seen on some Kershaw knives.
I don't have problems with AUS8.
 
Sandvik is the name of a company not a steel. They make various steels for knives and other things. They include 12C27, 13C26 and 19C27 IIRC.
 
12C27 - .60 C, 13.5 Cr, .40 Si, .40 Mn ......13C26 - .68 C, 13 Cr, .40 Si, .70 Mn .....19C27 - .95 C, 13.5 Cr, .4 Si, .7 Mn
