Sandvik has an office in China now. I know one office is in ShenZhen but they will deliver to any place.
I am in yangjiang. guangdong china and i see their steel here for special customers. So if in the future they have Sandvik steel and you think the knives are made not made in china. think again. anything is possible.
it could be made here in china.
the company where i saw the this steel at was making traditional folders like case xx. but not case xx just the style.add
Hi, Actually it's in Guangzhou for knife steel. We have a bunch of other operations in China also for steel, machine tools and mining equipment.
Sandvik steel, mainly 12C27 is available in China and we have focused the higher-end makers for the domestic and export sides.
For the brand list:
Browning, CRKT (I think it's in their catalogue), Cutco, Opinel, Fantoni, Kizlyar, Tramontina.
Wenger and Victorinox (same company/owner) do NOT use Sandvik steels.
