A custom Bark River Wayne aka The General got (and sharpened) for me, it says "The call" on it...you can see the padawan BenDibble in the high polished blade

some VERY EXCELLENT leather work courtesy of My Friend, Sandy Morrisey!

Great post, Ron, and I agree about Sandy's work!

I really love the all-business black sheath for the Rampage. Smart.

The decorative work is superb. Some of the nicest 'western scroll' in the biz.

Also tell your son he did a fine job photographing them. I can see him peeking out behind that BRKT job. :)

and the man (Sandy) behind the work is just as if not more impressive.
Great shots.

I wish my stuff was a quarter as good as Sandy's. The man makes some simply stunning sheaths. What I wouldn't do to get inside his mind for a day.

Keep it at, young man! And seeing them firsthand on Sunday may have helped as well as Tess Neilson's stuff!

Your pal,

Ron

I must apologize for not responding more quickly to the wonderful compliments you gentlemen have given to my work. To be truthful I thought "The Gallery" was for knife display only and have not been frequenting this forum. Today I wished to see pictures of knives and found this posting much to my pleasure and ego building. Thanks to all for your kind words. I will try to see if more of my work can be shown in the near future. '''Sandy'''

I have only one of Sandy's sheaths, got it in second hand with a Hossom blade. I am VERY impressed with his work!

Here's a pic, sorry I don't have one of the sheath only, but you can still see the beautiful leather work:

Sandy does exceptional work. The leather carving is superbly done.

Pleasure seeing it.

Thanks,
Peter

WOW!!!!!! amazing work. That martin sheath is probably about as close as you will ever see to a "plain" sheath from Sandy and it ain't all that plain:thumbup::D
