Thanks Sandy!
Destry rides again! The bright orange wrapped box, safely in the mailbox today - only one person that I know would be discrete in packaging! Thank you Sandy my friend. A rare treat is about to wend its way to you for your Blade Show Libation Survival Kit...
For the rest of you; over three years ago I bought, from Dirk Potgeiter "aka" Oupa a pair of knives he referred to as the Ha' Penny set. Using an old butcher knife, some hand jigged lamb bone; copper spacer, and African Stinkout (a darke dense wood) I had promised Dirk photos of the double sheath I was going to have made. The first attempt failed miserably; it seems that our South African Australian makes a wickedly scary sharp knife. The first time I used the sheath I thought how nice the blade slid into the sheath! Because it slcied through it like a hot knife in cold butter!
So fast forward 3 years (hard to believe Dirk - 3 years... and here they are; thanks Dirk and especially thank you Sandy!
Really a great pair of knives and one of the best examples of a double sheath ever!
Thank you both Dirk and Sandy!
