Sanmae is composed of a 3-layer steel with central ZDP189, unfortunately the lack of none stands out the contrast between the steels but live vanadium you see and that is enough ... .The blade measures are 5x35x185 and I must say that cuts very well. The handle is made of Desert Ironwood burl with a small spacer in red fiber and mosaic pin 3 mm along around 125 mm. The guard is on the lower stem 416 which shows the logo. (The ZDP is not punzonabile, also splits from annealed!) The sheath is leather 4mm with insert in red reptile to resume the spacer and give a little color .
I hope you enjoy it and happy Easter to all.
Pasquale
