Edge steel is carbon steel, the other layers are nickel and "white paper steel".

Snakewood and fileworked oxidized bronze liners for the handle, with "bronze" torx screws.
Leather lanyard with bronze piece.
Have not cut and wrapped the ends yet, should I shorten it or not?

Decided to go with an "openspine" sheath since it suits the slim recurved blade better.

I'd say you do some EXCEPTIONALLY nice work Magnus. Your creations are very artistic and you do superb leatherwork to produce some stunning packages.

Pleasure to see them,
Peter

Gorgeous ! The bronze liners for the handle is a really good idea. And yes, leatherwork is beautiful, as usual.

That sheath completes the package wonderfully.
When you posted the knife before I wondered
why one of your incredibly creative sheaths did
not accompany it?

Great work on both.

Slight update...

I managed to fix a small delamination "crack" in the spine of the blade :)
I grooved out the spine where the the crack was and it just about disappeared, half millimeter deeper and it would have been all gone!
Then I glued in an oxidized brass pinn along the length of the groove.

I also put a higher finish on the blade.
