This review is on the Sanrenmu 605 folding knife.

One of the issues I did not mention throughout the video was that I had a very minor rust issue on the metal scales of the handles but it came off in a matter of seconds with some gun lubricating oil. A positive point to mention on the Sanrenmu company is their honesty as they mention this problem on the back of the knives boxes and tell you, if rust occurs, simply clean the knife with some light oil an the problem will be resolved. Sanrenmu does not lie as the rust came off in seconds. Great product at a great price.

Just like the SRM 710 comparison made to the Sebenza, I honestly feel that the Sanrenmu 605 is the "Poor Mans Strider PT" because of their many similarities.

Interesting and thanks for the review and vid.

Has anyone seen any larger versions in the SRM lineup? I prefer folders with 2.5 - 3 inch blades.

The 763 has a blade size of 2.5 inches in length. They have 3+ inch knives which are the 900 series but i heard due to a change in the laws overseas where they are produced they have been discontinued. Does anyone know if that is true?

Thank you, I am really enjoying the 604 model with the tanto blade in a chisel grind. I will be giving a user review on this model after I get more use with the knife. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get a perfect sharp edge on a chisel blade? Should I only be sharpening the blade on one side?

The skull bead really helps with the grip on my pinky finger if I get more reach on the knife and leave my forfinger on the middle choil of the handle. The skull bead has lots of minature skulls on it which helps with traction. This is the only knife I own that I was able to add a skull bead to and actually get use out of the bead. I bought the bead a while back and never got any use out of it until this knife came around.

I showed a buddy of mine who has Kershaw Tyrade hands the 604 and he fell in love with it saying, "it fits my hands perfect". I was surprised since the folding knife is remarkably small. He immediately wanted one and since I purchased 4 of these knives, I sold him a 604 at the same price I got it for . He also mentioned it feels great as a defense knife and plans on actually carrying the knife as an EDC. Here is a picture of our hand size difference holding the knife.

Oh ya, my buddy said he needs a skull bead too : ), the funny thing is that this silly skull bead cost $2 less than the price I paid for the knife. This fact alone shows the true value you get through a purchase of a Sanrenmu knife.
