Sanrenmu 710 First Impressions Video

Because of you folks I was inspired to scoop up a Sanrenmu 710, and here's my initial impression:

so far so good, i'm still trying to get good at deploying the blade... seems like it needs to wear in more, or i'm just not that good at it. I've seen people snap these open like lighting fast and I can't seem to get that down without flicking my wrist. any suggestions might be cool.
 
I have this knife too and its awesome. Try putting your thumb nail under the stud and give a thumbs up. That should flick it out open real fast.
 
I've been looking at picking one up. At that price, it's nearly a no brainer. A shame about the crappy graphic on the scales.
 
that graphic is terrible....jellyfish/cougar? can it be scraped off?
luckily I got one of the old ones with the grip...does anyone know where to find a tool to adjust it? I cant find the right size allen wrench and I have a bunch.
 
I just can't bring myself to buy a knockoff. It would be one thing if the original designer gives approval of the project, but otherwise I just can't do it.
