Sans pocket clip

Do you carry any Spyderco knives (that originally had a pocket clip) without a pocket clip?

I have been carrying an FRN Dragonfly around the last few days and it appears to me that the pocket clip is largely a useless thing to have on a knife so small and light. When I carry it in my pocket, I barely notice it's there. I certainly don't think I need to clip it my pocket and I don't carry enough "pocket crap" to make pocket retrieval difficult at all. How many other folks are going "clipless" and on what knives are you doing so?

I do, but only the DF2. I might take the clip off the Tasman Salt too...It’s so light I usually just toss it in the pocket.

Nope. Too scared something might hook the Spydeyhole and open it in my pocket, even if not all the way.

I used to run the Para 2 with no clip. It seemed too much in the way so I carried it in a belt pouch with no clip. Now that I have been carrying it with the clip on the lanyard hole end all is well. Tip up as it were.

There might be another one I took the clip off of but I don't recall right now. I like my Dragon fine with the clip on. I do like the wire clips to.

I took the clip off my Techno and love it! Techno in the fifth pocket and 204p Military in the back pocket make a formidable duo.

I keep the clip on larger knives, such as Manix, PM2, Endura, Millie, etc. But I take the clip off of all knives smaller than those and carry them in my pocket.

I carry my Atlantic Salt without the clip...it's one of my diving knives. I'll be looking at shifting things around as I find myself with more gear; so there's no telling what I'll be doing with it by the middle of next summer.

I have six <3" knives.

I carry my Delica and Natives without a clip, in watch pocket; they fit nicely in there.

Deep carry wire clips are awesome on the UKPK and Caly3.

Para 3 is too big for watch pocket, so it has a deep carry clip as well.

Rest of the >3" fleet all have stock clips. Wouldn't think of taking them off.

I remove the clip for all smaller knives, but leave them on the larger ones (Large Lum, Stretch). I generally avoid carrying anything in the pocket along with a folder.

I've only done that with a Chaparral and a Dragonfly 2. Everything else keeps the clip.

My two dragonflys go clipless. They just intermingle with keys and a Swiss Army knife in deep pocket carry.
