Appologize for the picture quality. Not what I am usually doing .....

Just arrived:

Shipment, 1 at Flickr

Shipment, 2 at Flickr

Shipment, 4 at Flickr

Basically closed some gaps at my little collection target. So I am more or less done with my large 21 and Mnandi collection. Large 21 is complete. Mnandi I am just missing a cocobolo damascus. But that will be closed till end of this year.

Best,
Stefan

14 Large 21 with damascus blade and 8 Mnandi with damascus blade.

One Large 21 Insingo KnifeArt and one box elder Mnandi, both with S35V blade, for edc.

One Nyala.

No. The Mnandi plays the role of a perfect gentleman folder. The Large 21 is a nice large folder.

2 years or so ago I defined what I call my little collection goal: "Get one sample piece for each available inlay/scale material, but with damascus blade."

So for the large 21 I am done. Of course without old series and/or limited editions. So just the currently available inlay/scale materials:

Plain titanium
Full CF scale (KnifeArt)
CF inlays (Blade HQ)
Micarta
Cocobolo
Box Elder
Gabon Ebony
Snakewood
Bocote
Mammoth Ivory
Mammoth Bark Ivory

Now it becomes difficult, to catch an "annual" or any other old model. But I am patient :-)

Then I thought "why not doing the same with the Mnandi?". So I did. Just cocobolo is missing. Then Mnandi collection goal is also achieved :-)

That would be probably nice. Also the Honduran Rosewood they made for the Blade HQ exclusive looks nice. Dont know whether both look similar. Cant recall having seen pictures recently.

I do have a Macassar Ebony.

The one on the bottom of this pic is Madagascar. Very different from Honduran.

Thanks. Indeed quite different from the Honduran Rosewood, which has more of a "red" touch, whereas the Madagascar seems to be more on the dark side, like Macassar and Gabon Ebony.

More grain than either of the Ebonies, but definitely darker and less red than Honduran.
