MAN - Santa came a little early today and delivered a Maxpedition Fat Boy pack. Man, I don't know a thing about the guy who owns/runs, etc this place - but he makes some good stuff.

I could not be any more impressed with the workmanship, space, user-friendliness and the looks of this bag. Once I figure out how to use our new Digital Camera (Olympus C-750) that Santa also dropped off early, I will post some pics of the bag with contents.

This thing will redefone my "EDC list alot. Tons of space and it is not too "commando" looking.

Merry Christmas!

David, I got mine today too. I am looking forward to your pics so that I will have some idea what to fill mine with other than about 10 or 15 blades. YAHOO!!!
Merry Christmas to you as well.

David,
I recieved mine yesterday from my fiance and I think that it's great! I carried mine around town today and recieved no "odd" looks whatsoever. I think that the extra cushion on the strap is a bit too much but is a nice idea when I will be carrying my camera accessories/Palm Pilot/water bottle. All the zippers/buckles are well made and feel very secure. The thing that I like best about this pack is that I keep finding more little pockets inside the damn thing. No wonder the price is so high, this is one well made pack! What made mine even sweeter is that inside of my Fatboy was a PUG wallet :D The PUG is great but it is clearly meant to be carried with the Fatboy. It is HUGE.

Parfive,
Here's what I have in mine:
-Surefire G2
-Reeve decorated small Seb
-Surefire E1
-Casio G-Shock (original version)
-3 packs of Altoids (I just stocked up)
-Benchmade 5W
-Coach business card holder
-Coach coin wallet
-Maxpedition PUG
-cellphone
-keys
-pager

I still have about 50% more of the pack to fill. I'm thinking about a homemade first aid kit (although I keep a large one in my car), and possibly a SOG tool.
