This morning I was so happy to show my gift just arrived from the Maine and .... the forum was down
Hopefully it's now possible .

Before today I knew nothing about Canal Street knives and perhaps it was a good thing because now I have another Brand to look for and some more money to spend

A gorgeous knife and a wonderful gift.
That raises also many regrets, that CSC had to close and not have grabbed more when possible. The 2015 BF knife is a great knife, true !
I dig the burnt "flan" hue of the bone. Tasty, really !

Wonderful knife!! Well designed, and finished!! CSC tried to carry on the old Schrade traditions, with some of the Schrade staff that lost their jobs when Schrade closed!!
Some unfortunate loss of those people due to age and health, eventually led to CSC's regrettable closure! A valiant, if short-lived effort that produced some nice knives like this one!!
A heartwarming and beautiful gesture, Ray; and a lovely surprise for a great stalwart-across-the-sea, of our community!!

We got the best from them that 1st year. Very happy you are happy Jean-Marc, Âchillepattada . Was a great pleasure to be able to repay your many kindnesses to me.

What part? I was just in Maine last week (up from south Louisiana) visiting family in Andover, sabbatus and going over to story land in NH. Went went over to popham beach one day too.

From the mid-coast. Have water skied in Sabattus for years and have spent many summer days at Popham and Sea Wall Beach. Just finished a job on the the next peninsula to Popham north. All good places to be. Glad you could stop by for a while.
