Santa Clause????

Ok,I've never seen this questioned asked here before so I figured I might as well be the first. How many of you knife makers are Santas in reserve, ie. fat with a beard?????

Anyone who's seen my web page knows I fit the description perfectly!!! Just wondering if knifemaking tends to make us fat and unshaven or if fat and unshaven folks are more apt to become a knife maker????

I dont know if it is the knife making or what,But ever since I swung the first hammer to hot steel my Belly has been getting bigger and days in the shop show neglect with the razor....Bruce

OH NO!

I'm never going to make it at this knife making thing

I'm to damn scrawny. I never thought it would matter that I'm 6'3" and a whopping 180 lbs of arms and legs but now I realize that's what's holding me back. Well I'll stick with it,Maybe I'll go pick up some of that weight gain 4000.
Oh yeah I usually shave everyday except saturdays sometimes when I won't be going anywhere. Looks like I better cut back on that too.
I'll get it all worked out eventually

Yep, I got a good organic tool rest and the beard has been growing since 1 Oct 93, the day i got my DD 214 with Retired on it.

I knew there was I reason (deep and dark) that I have to become a knife maker...6'6" at a delicate 305 gives me one of the nicest, roundish organic tool holder in the biz...now if I can only learn how to use it!
