Today's Santa Fe New Mexican has a short "Business Beat" about Santa Fe Stone Works.

Santa Fe Stoneworks, which makes art knives, kitchen cutlery and pocket knives, to name a few items, will soon celebrate its 32nd anniversary.
...
The Wirtel family now owns Santa Fe Stoneworks outright after its old partner, Camillus Cutlery Co., went out of business several years ago.

Anyone have a knife from these folks to show off?

I don't own any of theirs knives but I have been by the store a couple of times and they sure produce some beautiful knives!

Actually they just customize production knives but they are beautiful.

I have one , collecting dust in the box .

That Spyderco is breathtaking!

I only have one from them, the lower knife in this Peanut Pic:

My Spyderco Kopa with Gold Lip Pearl was done by them. They also did the Turquoise Kopa, as well.

I got to talk with the son and daughter (Anna and Miles) of the 3 person team, which includes their dad, who started the company. They were at A. G. Russell's knife event last month. Great folks, and I'm glad they are doing well.

They bought out a number of knives from the Camillus demise, and are using a lot of those. They also use a good amount of Boker's Magnum line of knives, if I remember correctly, including some of the Damascus folders. They do some great work on Kershaw's Speed Safe knives, like the Chive, and Leek, and their Spyderco work is legendary.
