That's right, he sent me a 0550 AND a 0551.

Here they are with their brother and a smaller cousin:

But I made the mistake of telling my dad about it...so I had to give one of my 0551's to him.
(he needed it though; the poor man had no titanium in his collection.)

Thanks again Thomas, you have totally restored MY faith in humanity.

These were free? So now you have 2 551s? Nice group of titanium right there!

Yep, free.:)

But I only have one 0551, as my dad kept hinting (all day long today) that he really needed one.
And considering it's still near Christmas, and the fact that he had no titanium in his collection, I ended up agreeing that he needed one too.;)
So I now have one 0551 and one 0550, which makes me quite happy.

This is the kind of thing that makes me really love Kershaw. Having someone as active and generous as Thomas on the boards adds a very personal touch. Congratulations on the very nice knives!

Thomas is the man. Congrats on your nice new knives. What a great Xmas gift.

Congrats stabman!

Thomas is a good fellow, and Kershaw / ZT knives are the bomb.

best regards -

Wow, beautiful knives, that is the most generous gesture I have seen in a while. Enjoy them! :)

Same here.:)
I was seriously in shock when I opened the box. My wife had kept it secret that it had arrived (the same day as the Christmas Exchange package did), so I was shocked when I saw the box. Then the box was bigger than I thought for one knife, so I thought "Hey, maybe he threw in a T-shirt, because it's Christmas."
Then I opened tha box...I was still sitting dumbfounded when my wife got back home. She ended up being surprised by the double-knife madness, and my dad had me repeat it when I told him.

Generosity like this just doesn't happen, pretty much ever.

Go Thomas, and Go KAI!!!

Very cool! Gotta love Kershaw :D
BTW Thomas..... im always open for the receiving of free knives ;)

Thomas is Thomas and he never ceases to amaze. That's a great gift and it is way cool your dad gets to enjoy as well.

Haven't you learned anything from the forums?
I can't believe it was a few days late for Christmas. Always delayed :D

Thomas is a class act.
I will gladly bankroll Kershaw's generosity with a 550 (and 561) of my own...

Wow, thats awesome! Thats the knife I'm hopefully gonna pick up next.

I highly recommend getting one.
I plan on buying one and changing the scale, maybe to a bright one for outdoors carry. I haven't lost any knives yet, but it's a great excuse to get another knife.:)
