A very good customers' wife contacted me, and wanted something special for his Christmas present. After speaking with him, this is what I came up with.
I converted a Hubertus lever lock to shell puller configuration, added mother of pearl scales, some coining and lettering. This requires a total rebuild/refit of the knife. I am an authorized Hubertus repair/customizing station.

That sure is one pretty knife, but I must admit I am not familiar with either locking style you mentioned. Care to elaborate on how they work?

Lever locks are automatics. With the lever in the "flat" (forward) position, the knife is locked. Simply flip it rearward and press to open the knife. This design is one of the safest and most convenient for automatics. Ambidextrous, too.
The shell pullers were used on older knives to remove stuck shotgun shells from single/double barreled guns. Since knives in the shell puller configuration are not normally available new, I convert quite a few for collectors.

Wow, very nice looking work Bill:thumbup: That should be one happy customer this Christmas!!
