Here is one that I just finished up this weekend. OA 242mm. Length of cutting edge 170mm. Height at heel 48mm. Steel is stainless damascus by Devin Thomas (AEB-L/304). Handle is buffalo horn, afezelia, and walnut burl. RC 59/60. Weight 6.1 oz.

Comments and criticisms are welcome.

Thanks, Kevin

How can I comment on it if I haven't used it? Send it to me for honest criticism :)

It looks A-W-E-S-O-M-E. Two things I *might* have done differently: give it just a bit of point to help in detailed/controlled cuts, and try to bring the handle closer to the edge drop.

Very impressive piece Kevin!

What a beauty! Please do not change the handle emplacement. It's beautiful as it is, and makes sharpening and thinning a little easier.
I too would like to see the tip somewhat pointier. I was wondering whether the left bevel is so large, or is it just nicely convexed?

Thanks for the comments. I'll work on getting em a little more pointy. Benuser, you are correct that is a convex edge.
