I have been wanting a Santoku for myself and finally made one can't wait to try it out.

I like it very much and my daughter and daughter-in-law have both used it are fighting over it. I think I know what their their Christmas present for this year will be.

Good subtle contouring; and I've always liked the look of mosaic pins on dark handles. Looks like it has good balance. Very nice!

whata wonderful piece you made. I might hesitate use such a beatiful kitchen knife.
As I am Japanese, Santoku is everyone has everyday kitchen cutllery. No one use a masterpiece as yours. We cut eveything with Santoku.
