I think the SAR3 is about tiny enough, and I bet if someone were to pop the scales off, it would make a decent neck knife too. I'd rather see Busse ship a load of CG SAR8's to Skunk @ around the $247 - $297 mark.

3" is about as small as I want the blade of a knife to be but I'm sure many people would think it is a good idea. You for one :)

Sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2 sar 2

How bout a SAR 4 that actualy has a 4 inch blade? The SAR 4v2?

Wouldn't be opposed to the SAR 11 either.

see what had happened wuz, we need a sar 2 for 187. with tan micarta and desert ironwood scales...

then get one of dem upside down carbon fiber sheafs from bb

I'm a bit drunk and I can't find my reading glasses, but from what I have read in this thread, I have to say that I think the idea of a SAR 1.1 is a bit odd!!!!. . . . I'm not saying that we won't try it, but talk about an oversized Exacto knife!!!!

I need more booze before I hit the rack!

Jerry :D

LOL
A SAR 1.1 sounds like something you might expect to have a church key in the middle and phillips/regular screwdrivers on the other end of the handle? Kind of like those credit card multi tool thingys.

SAR 2... I'd have to see it before I gave input.

SAR 6... now we're getting somewhere, nice midsize idea.

SAR 10/11... maybe

SAR 12... very possible with the over all length of the handle to be a sweet blade. Think NMFBM LE with a SAR handle and about 3-4 oz lighter. Yes, this please, as I believe it would be a big seller for sure and a way to remake the NMFBM without remaking the NMFBM which is ever so popular. ;)

I'd be in for a SAR 20, thin it down and make it fast and light...

In all seriousness many federal government buildings will not allow blades over two inches in length.

Additionally, some of the higher speed military schools such as Ranger, SERE, and SFAS have a blade length maximum.

There may very well be a market for a SAR-2.

I'm casting my vote for the SAR 12 or 20 or anything in between:)

P.S. Dave nice to see you've got a handle on the Hack addiction and are moving on:)
