I previously owned this exact model but sold it, ever since I've had regrets.
So...thanks to the WTB forum a Generous HOG helped me out and I scored once again only this time I will never part with it. It even arrived earlier that than USPS had listed
That night I took it to the firepit and tested it battoning, it did very well.
This one is a keeper for sure....and once again a big thank you Sir

Great looking Sar, I just got my first and absolutely love it. I picked up the Sar8.

I got to hold a Satin/black G10 SAR 8 a few weeks ago, totally awesome knife.
Congrats on your's

Congrats on the score. I am happy that you finally got one. The SAR series is superb and the SAR 8 is my favorite of the series.

Great shots man! The SAR-4 was and still is a really underrated knife, but I reckon its a beauty.

Glad you're happy with your SAR4. I had two of them and sold both. Beautiful, solid knife but the handle never felt right in my hand. I liked the fact that you could comfortably grip the back of the handle, which extends the reach of the blade. But there was nowhere in the middle of the handle that felt quite right. Maybe it was the balance of the blade length and the handle.

Many people love the SAR6. I wonder if those who have both prefer the 6 to the 4?

John
