Recently dropped my SAR 6 on a tile floor and noticed that the left side scale was slightly misaligned with the tang of the knife ( the scale is a bit lower now)
Has this happened to anyone before?
any tips or tricks on fixing it or should i send it in to get fixed?

If it were me, I'd send it in. Give the lovely ladies of Busse Combat's customer service a call...they'll hook you up!

You'll more than likely need to get scales taken off and put back on. If you won't want to bother Busse and have to send in your knife just drill out the copper tubes and use torx screws and connectors to hold on the scales like ESEE knives do.

Where fo you get these? My local hardware store doesn't have them.

Thanks for the advice guys, I think I'm going to send the knife so the shop can sharpen it as well as fix up the scales, I've been having troubles sharpening the tip with a strop :o

I use my NMSFNO as a thrower. I've had bad throws before and the spine whacks my target. I've shifted my scales plenty of times, at the moment my scales are shifted about 1/8" off center, maybe a tad more. Usually I get get a smooth round bar or something and a hammer and give it a couple whacks. It works and you're not without your knife.

I'll wait until I break the knife before I send it in :D

try dropping it on the other side or the other floor. if that doesn't work busse can fix it right up!
