SAR 8 LE vs SE, differences

Hello guys!

Sorry about my ignorance, but I can't find an answer to this anywhere :o
Can please someone educate me on the difference between the SAR 8 LE and SE?

I know the LE's are numbered, but besides that, are there any difference in finish etc...?
What is the most "valuable" of the two?

You hit the nail on the head in terms of the differences. As to which is more valuable, it depends on a person's desire to have the special handles or a serial-numbered version.

Just pulled the trigger on a SAR 8 SE, I have been drooling for a while now.

Well, my dad told me that we're Viking, and that we escaped from Norway a hundred years ago or so. Something about it being too cold. It makes me wonder why my grandparents decided to settle in Wisconsin, though.

Given that the SAR-6 is the current BCS offering, are you sure that you're talking about the SAR-8, and not the SAR-6?

In any case, both are excellent knives.

By the way; I bought the SAR 8 SE, but not from Busse. I think it's something majestic about the SAR 8.

And yes, I have seen the SAR-6 is the current BCS offering and are very tempted.

Would you say that the SAR 6 is a slicer/fine cutting tool or more like a small chopping knife? Maybe it's both?
I need a slicer in that size, should I buy a SAR 6?

Oh man, you gus have wrecked me already :o
