I know this knife was offered in LE for $597, but I also see other SAR 8 knives that are not tigerhide LE.


1. Was SAR 8 SE offered through busse website or busse company store? busse company store, thx steelnut

2. How much was the original price of the SAR 8 SE?

It was not offered in micarta as I recall. I think it was @460 plus shipping. It wasn't cheap
 
I think it was $100 less just like the sar 6 . So 497 for sar 8 SE + 15 ship if you bought only one. I think thats right.:confused:
 
I'll dig up prices for the ones I have when I get back to my home puter.
I do seem to recall it offered twice in micarta... BP & satin and BCM & doublecut

SAR-8 SE - Special Edition, Double cut with Black Micarta. $457.00
SAR-8 SE - Special Edition, Satin finish with Rare Black Paper Micarta! $467.00

...Plus shipping. $15 for 1, $20 for 2, higher for more...?

Seems a safe guess that all with G-10 were $487, but if anyone can confirm or refute, please do. :)
