little did i know that the package that showed up on the front porch the day that i left to install a new generator would save may life!

i flew from idaho to Montana to pick up a very very heavy generator and had my doubts whether i could get it in the T206 along with the tech.
i was lucky with a lil scotch and some Vaseline it worked!

weather was the shitzzz but knew that the package (not the scotch) had "busse" on the label and i knew i had to get back to the cabin to see what it would bring.

pounding down the scotch and at full throttle to beat the storm i made it to the remote strip. but little did i know that my tricycle gear 206 because of the extra fuel burn and me crapping my jeans had now become a tail wheel (tail dragger) in design.

now here's where it get good, in all the excitement i only grabbed the case of scotch and the goofy package from busse combat... hogs, this saved my life!!!

Nice SAR... The one I've been waiting for!!:thumbup: Wow, is it fully convexed too??? Man, if they all look that good, I'll take...

27!

:D:thumbup: (Great story & pix, BTW!)

Are you kidding me with those in-flight pics?! That looks stunning. You were a lucky man to be up there, Scott. And, well, a lucky man to be down too. ;)

This one will be mighty tempting, although I wish I knew if combat grades were in the pipeline. I love me some double cut

Ha, your plane is A@# heavy!

I can't believe that it took off, and was stable in flight with some thing so heavy in the back.

Great pics.

What I want to know is what kind of beast crapped that huge pile of dung just on the other side of the fence??

or is it the guts from that monster steelhead??

A sweet knife, a monster fish, a beautiful background . . .

and Lee spots the giant turd.

(Me too, sad I know)

Hey Skunk, did ya put all the tech tools in the nose locker!!! I imagine if you did and then pilot and pass., weight was just enough to push the arse up. Fly in those buggers all the time over to the plant along w/207s. Cool pics Bro!!!

Great pics Skunker... and the story too. :D

I can't believe you stuffed that generator into your plane.

no nose compartment in the 206, only the 207 had that feature. all his crap was under the seats and in the back, generator was 400 lbs his tools were 200 lbs, scotch 6.5 lbs, we were fully grossed out at 1650 lbs useful load including fuel and oil

the tail only fell to the ground after it was shut down and i got out of the plane, i do have a special skid installed to protect the thin under tail from this kind of stuff happinging. looks kind of cool though
