I could be wrong, but I think the mid ride sheath is for a Howler, but I bet it woud hold a SAR just fine. Reason I say this is I only do the flat top sheaths for Res C knives.

Thanks Leatherman, I no longer have the SAR (I broke it before I could carry it very long), Tbaugh, if the belt sheath doesn't fit your SAR we'll reverse the deal so that your happy. I bought numerous sheaths and I probably got them all mixed up. Thanks again.
