Everyone likes pics of used Busse so I took a couple of my EDC SAR. I have used it to open paint cans, light baton on a wooden fence to get the gate latch cut out, digging in the dirt, and general all around cutting duties. You seem to either love the little bumble bee color scheme or not like it at all. I have loved this combo since I saw my first 69 Z/28 in that color. I have made 3 sheaths for this SAR so far. I sold the last one with one of my AD's and had to make this one in a hurry. Tried the white thread with the black leather this time (its nicer in person than in the pic). Its time for a resharpen so I just ordered a edge pro to see if I can get a hair poppin edge back on it. We shall see how much practice it takes. PS, thats paint on the spine. The coating is holding up really well.
JAXX, does this SAR look familiar?

Hello Dialton,

School a newbie please. Your knife looks like an AD to me. What makes it a Sar?

Thanks,

Bill

It's a game warden, and SAR stands for S.earch A.nd R.escue. The handle color is what makes it a SAR you can't lose something that bright!

It's' not an Active Duty (AD); it is a Game Warden in the "SAR" color scheme - black crinkle coating with yellow G10 slabs.

Looks like its holding up great! And who ever said not to open paint cans with a knife anyway. These little GW's are tough little bastids.

Thanks for the pics:thumbup:
