SAR3 black canvas micarta arrived today with some extras from Skunk, although not "Skunk Junk". The pics are not the best, from my phone camera.

Mine came in yesterday, I'm very happy with my first Busse.

Now to oil the slabs or not?

Go ahead and oil the handles. As long as you use mineral oil, it washes right off and goes back to looking the same as before. Other types of oil may not wash off as well as mineral oil, but will give the same results.

Mine made it in today too, with an awesome "skunk junk" dog tag no less. Pretty happy with it, great little EDC blade.

Mineral oil works great to bring out the darker colors of the micarta. The mineral oil will absorb and the original colors will come back after about a day or so. You can keep apply mineral oil to obtain the darker color though.
