SAR6 LE is amazing!

The SAR6 is the de facto mid sized Busse for me .. it's just an incredible feeling blade with looks that kill.

Nice looking SAR6. How does it compare to the Boss Jack? Looking at the specs they seem very similar, but I'm guessing they "feel" very different.

The BOSS Jack is a sweet piece of INFI and so is the SAR 6 but that's where the similarity ends. Like Beauty & The Beast, they are two completely different knives, but if they must be compared it's like this. The BOSS Jack is more of an in town utility/fighting/concealment blade (except many cities would not let you carry a 6" blade) and the SAR 6 is an outdoorsman's blade .

Or more descriptive way of saying it is take the satin/convex edge BOSS Jack then add a better handle in feel/ergonomics and chopping/lateral control, a more useful choil, a more polished nuke treatment all the way around all with a wider, heavier blade for much better chopping/splitting ability = SAR 6.

For the money, satin to satin direct comparison, the SAR 6 at factory pricing vs BJ satin second hand pricing is a far better value if you plan to take it in the woods. The BOSS Jack is lighter and easier to conceal but feels much better in hand with spacers added unless your hands are very small. The BOSS Jack/Street is my fiancee's favorite Busse handle for that reason, it fits her tiny hand, but then she can also put a Bear Cub HACK to efficient use where I can't.
