I was two seconds away from ordering the SAR6 and opted for the RMD2 LE instead...

Handle looks more comfy on the RMD and I'm a fan of micarta over G10 - the price difference was what really pushed me over the edge - still can't get over the price/value of Swamp Rats.

Can't wait for real in-handers either - gotta admit, the SAR6 is a beauty for sure.

Anyone get the RMD2LE yet?

I did the opposite. I had a order in for the RMD and ended up cancelling it when the SAR came out in black G10. I must say the SAR is a fine piece of work but I'll bet you can't go wrong either way as they are no doubt both keepers.
On a side note, after reading all the great BF member reviews, I just got a CG RMD in the mail today and they were right, its a mighty fine blade.

I got 1 of each, I love all the Busse's & Swamp Rats & Scrapyards..........well except for the Shiva Rex :barf: man that was a ugly little thing.

Obviously they are a different steel... but set that point aside, i would opt for the swamp rat.

If I compare the Ratmandu to say a SAR4, or even the handle on a SAR 8, since they are similiar handles... I find that the Ratmandu Handle is one of the most comfortable handles that melts into my hands or friends when they come over and i show off, lol. they love the feel of the handle on it. I would much rather have in that respect a Ratmandu LE...
 
Got my RMD LE today, and compared it to my SAR6. They are really VERY different knives. SAR6 is much bigger, beefier, and heavier. One thing is sure though, I'm really impressed with the fit, finish, and edges on both of these blades, Busse and Kin are stepping it up no doubt.

Just for kicks, the RMD LE and M9LE make a great pair. :D
