Sar8 against Sar4 comparison photo?

I recieved my sar4 this week and am blown away!

Its a DC with black micarta. Any sar8's in this combo and does anybody have a comparison pic they would be so kind as to share?

How would the sar8 go as a camp knife/light chopper?

IMO the SAR-8 is the perfect camp knife/light chopper - I even prefer it over my NMSFNO

A DC SAR8 would be awesome. But, here's my thought...I have a SAR4 (DC) that I love...but I feel like I'd really want thicker/mag handles on a SAR8. Anyone else?

Yep I totally agree thicker for sure. I was thinking of sending mine back in to get mags put on or liners. Oh and a lager choil.

No, you're not. A SAR-6 would seem almost inevitable...the perfect one-knife compromise. Just be sure to make the choil the same size as the one on the SAR-8.

Congrats on the DC sars4!!!!!!!!!!! I had trouble choosing between the DC ans the LE!! So I through them to the wind and the LE came home
