Sardinian/Italian traditional knives

Its my biggest knife which I purchased in Sardinia on a motorbike road trip years ago.

I also have a smaller UK friendly version,I saw lots of locals using these in the markets and on the street.

A very traditional and useful knife.

Its interesting to see the contrast with their neighbours in Corsica and how they made their traditional knife (which I also have).

The Sardinian knife is definitely more elegant.

This is a more common size,I christened it at the side of the road having my lunch with local produce.

I always like to use them like the locals might use them.

I had slices of cheese and meat cut for me in the market,I like this one a lot it works well on English spuds.
