SARGE 7 Color choice?!

For whatever reason I've decided I need a SARGE 7. I've narrowed it down to pumpkin and black/green g10. I have the black/green g10 config on my HG55 from Knob and I'm a big fan, but this one seems to look a little different.

I also have 2 Team Geminis incoming from the custom shop with competition finish blades, one with black/green g10 and one with micarta. So there's something to be said for keeping it consistent, and on the opposite side going totally different.


Would love to hear thoughts and pictures always help, will definitely be ordering this week!

I love orange/black g10 but can never bring myself to get a knife in the configuration because I usually go for the more subdues colors. The green/black is one of my favorite, and is probably what I would pick if I already had an HG55 in green/black (I like matching knives). However, I would say you are well off no matter which you pick.

I had the same issues as you. ended up getting the orange/black one and i am very happy...
Got a Boss Jack LE in green/black at the custom shop for orange/red liners and I've got a CG BJ with tan on sage(kinda boring actually)

I actually liked it so much Ill be getting future stuff in orange as well. Got a nifty little SAR 3 to match it up....
One thing to consider though is how much harder the G-10 is as compared to micarta.


Ive tried several times posting pictured but never ever get it rigt so I am not making any promises:)
 
I think a lot of people prefer G-10 coz it's smoother. But I like Micarta it just feels better on hand IMO
The black/red G10 version is beautiful but unfortunately they are sold out

Anyone have a photo of the black / green g10 on the sarge 7? Mainly looking for a different angle than the company store one
 
I'm a Blue/Black G10 on a black blade kinda guy... but it's like asking what the best flavor of bubble gum is...

(If you're not a commie, you know the answer is strawberry)
 
I don't know if you can really go wrong with either, but I'd prefer black and green :thumbup:
 
Hah yeah, it looks like the colors change pretty drastically based on the machining (as pointed out by Skunk) so trying to dial in on what exactly this will look like as the HG55 is pretty distinct!
