Hey all,
Got this beast about a week ago from the exchange, thanks Jeff for helping out on the shipping:D

Anyway I've got to many nice knives and needed something that I could use around the house and camping and not worry about,
Only split some hardwood for the fire but intentionally battoned it into a few nails to test the edge, as it was old house framing from a job that week

Another reason I'm posting this up is I found it hard to find pictures of edge damage on infi steel before I bought it, and to be honest I'm impressed with it so far.
I usually do this with a different knife in A2 and the edge was a lot worse off after hitting something hard

In the pic of the tip, the damage is from the edge hitting concrete, probably should of been more careful but it steeled back pretty good

I'll update this thread when I find something else to cut up

That is very cool!!! I quick hit on a steel and they'll be goneski! Love seeing Busses being used properly. :)

Nice pics and awesome to see some use. But it is making me really want a SAR 7 or 8 :)

Cheers guys,
Took a shortcut home today as I know there's a few cars laying around and I wanted to see how it would cut through panels

Your really going to want one now David :)

I only had 5min spare to do this so I'm planning on heading back when I have more time and really cut it into pieces

Welcome to the hard user's club! :D
It looks like you had a lot of fun, I know I did when I put my INFI through it's paces! ;)

I put my SAR 8, along with several others through the same kind of treatment back when I first got them, so it is neat to see a SARGE 7 tested out with someone else's money. :p

Nice Rusty :D

Glad to see your enjoying it

Yeah mate im having some fun :D
it was hard doing it to one of the nicest blades i own, but now it's got some character and looks loved

One question for everyone,
it's obviously going to need a sharpen down the track so would the edge hold up any better with a full convex edge?
I'd be doing it with wet&dry and a mousepad,

The edge it came with looked like a v to me but I could be wrong, I'm only learning

Cheers
