Sarge...front and center!!!

Bleh I had forgotten all about this. I work 2 jobs. UPS at night and my day job I process MTE for the post office through a post office affiliated company. I average about 3-5 hours sleep a day...5 being a best case scenario. I remember seeing a thread about this a few days ago but it slipped my mind. I was at work at UPS 11: 50 pm or so and I remembered about this offer. While sorting packages on the conveyer I whipped out my smartphone and checked the store. System down. I tried back off and on for a few minutes. finally the store came up and I went to the order screen and it said no stock. I was hoping that maybe somthing would show up so I logged into the store and refreshed the order screen. Then it said low stock. I quik hit add to cart and processed the order. I immediately recieved a confirmation e-mail time stamped at 12:13. I checked the order page again and it said no stock. I checked a few times every few minutes but it was the same. Either I got the last one or someone cancelled a order and I siezed a super small window, all while sorting packages with one hand and ordering on the phone with the other


My first BUSSE from the store, second Busse total.

I am usually never lucky, but apparently the rays of the moon found the center of my ass and goosed me this time lol.

Anyone know the approx ship time on these...a week or so?

Awesome story, rlacan! How high are you from that experience!!! Drooling over here a la Pavlov thinking about the SARGE. Can't wait to fondle mine. This will be my first full flat knife. Stoked!!!
 
Same situation here. I boarded a flight before 9 when they were made available and was in the air at 9. We landed after 9 and I hit the order page - "No stock". I stayed in my seat and created an account. As I saved my account details I got the site down message. I walked through the airport with my Blackberry and hit the order page again - site back up with availability so I hit the "Buy Now" and scored.

I thought I must have been in early because I did not know that Drunk Skunk does the batch release thing. Then I saw Jaxx's post that they were up around 9 as he said they would be. So I also got in in one of the small windows. I speculate there will be more however.
 
cool! we don't really do batch releases. what happens on limited runs is that some porkers will abandon their shopping cart for dinner or to go to the liquor store. so after a while theres a bunch of carts rolling around with no hogs pushing them. the shopping cart does have a restock feature the fires off every fifteen minutes and does an auto restocking of old carts. sometimes i won't wait so i shut the shopping cart down and delete the hogs that that are soon to be stomped to death by the boars who are ready to feed. anyway, thats my story and i'm sticking to it!

shipping will start after i drink my coffee, and there's a lot to ship on this batch, i'm a one hog show here (i did ask Pokey1 to move to idaho and help) anyway you will have yours in a few days.

HAH. Havent heard window lickers in a long time. My one friend back in the day would call people he deemed mentaly deficent ,,,, short bus riding window lickers.

I am still not sure it is all real lol. I am the unluckiest guy in the world. The fact that I was able to pull off that one handed smatphone order while picking off packages with the other hand was a miracle in and of itself. The fact that it all went thru relatively smoothly all things considered, I think I need to be pinched as I am dreaming.

Ok then lets say the guy that scored the first blade in his cart ....went off and his cart was emptied... whoever got his knife randomly is the new number one? Or lets say the number one guy after a while cancelles his order realizing he needs money for other shit... does that number one blade go to spmeone lucky enough to keep checking, gat a low stock messege instead of the no stock and then they get a sweet surprise of a number one?

Or is the number one the first actually co mplete order that you transact and ship, eliminating some of the above. Hmm then theres the guy that might actually get it but return it after the fact.... blach to much to think about.

I can only dream that the one I got lucky with is number one lol.....see my angle here now huh???...
 
Dont worry....Mrs Skunk is very efficient and keeps things rolling right along.

God Bless her - poor thing married Skunk - must have been young ...or drinking a bit herself at the time.....:)
 
Nice story, I got on at 7:30am and saw one available then refreshed to see No-stock, lucky I suppose
