Dear Sarge,


Terry finished and mailed the sheath with the knife on Saturday. So I am seeing the knife for the first time, today.

This may be the most "honest" knife I've ever held. It is exactly what it is supposed to be: handsome, direct, a journeyman tool, and with a sense of "forever" to it that makes me want to put a mention of it in my will now, because I know it will live far beyond me.

Thank you, my friend. I hope you are well, and safe, and happy.

This knife is a statement to idea of forthright behavior, existence, and honor. It reminds me of you.
